Our active ingredient is Oleoresin Capsicum (OC), an oil extracted from plants in the Capsicum genus, including chillies and peppers.

Capsaicin

The fiery agent in the oil is Capsaicin, the same natural base that makes chillies and peppers hot. On contact, it causes intense but temporary irritation to the eyes, skin and respiratory system.
