The Safety Cap

Every Pepper Spray Australia canister is fitted with a spring-loaded safety cap. The cap sits firmly over the actuator so the spray cannot be discharged accidentally in a pocket, bag or drawer.

How To Use It

  1. Hold the canister firmly with your thumb on top of the safety cap.
  2. Flip the spring-loaded cap up with your thumb to expose the actuator.
  3. Aim the nozzle toward the threat and press the actuator down firmly.
  4. Release, move to safety, and contact police.

Care & Replacement

  • Check the safety cap moves freely and closes securely before carrying.
  • Replace your canister after first use — it is designed for a single deployment.
  • Replace your canister at the end of its two-year product life.
  • Store out of reach of children and away from heat sources.
